Long Overdue

I have received several comments from friends and family that I have not updated the blog in awhile. Even though our transition from one to two children has been very easy, life is that much busier. We now have two children. So sitting down to update has not been a priority. The fact that I am sitting here now is a miracle in itself. It is 10:05 on Monday morning and both of my children are asleep...both children are also sick. ..... and now it is 6:15 as I am finally finishing this post. We went to the doctor today and Emalyn has an ear infection and we are still waiting to hear if she has RSV. She is absolutely pitiful. The doctor thinks that Rylan has pneumonia. Both are taking breathing treatments and antibiotics and Emalyn was prescribed a steroid. So please pray that healing will come to their little bodies very soon. We've had some tough nights here in the Mattox household. Below you will find LOTS of pictures from the past two months through today...just to catch you up.

I just had to include this picture. Rylan loves his little sister.

Absolutely precious and wonderful! I am glad to see you guys are doing sooooo well!

I am sorry I have not called you about the sling. Kristy said you had one that was with a ring thing and that you might want to cut that one up to make it like hers. If your aunt cannot do it, call me because I am sure we can work something out. The only I made only used about a yard and a half of fabric which for the most part is under $10 dollars. Just let me know! teamfahring@yahoo.com

Rylan and Emalyn are adorable. I hope they get to feeling better really soon!!
